Indian Cooking Recipe: Daanimma Pulihora
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Daanimma Pulihora
Ingredients:
1. 250gms rice
2. 1 cup dannimma seeds (pomegranate seeds)
3. 5 red chillies
4. 3 tsps channa dal
5. 2 tsps avalu (mustard seeds)
6. 10-15 karvepaaku (curry leaves)
7. 10-15 coriander leaves
8. 1/2 tsp pasupu (turmeric)
9. salt to taste
10. 1/4 cup oil
11. 1/2 tsp hing (inguva / asafetida)


Method of Preparation:
First after cooking rice, keep it in a dish to dry for few minutes. Then grind the dannimma seeds slightly liquid in consistency. After that all the ingredients are fried in a kadai. Then the paste of dannimma seeds and the fried ingredients are mixed with the rice. Add salt to taste. Add coriander leaves on the top. Serve hot with mint leaves chutney.
