Indian Cooking Recipe: Pessaratu
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Pessaratu
Ingredients:
1. Green Gram Pulse: 1 Cup
2. Cumin Seeds: 1 Tsp
3. Green Chillies: 3
4. Red Chillies: 3
5. Finely Chopped Onions: 3
6. A sprig of coriander leaves
Method of Preparation:
Soak the gram for four hours. Wash and grind to a smooth paste with the chilies. Chop the onions finely and add to the paste along with salt and coriander leaves. Shape into a round pancake on a griddle and let it cook with a little oil sprinkled on its sides. Turn it around and cook on both sides. Serve hot. It may be eaten with jaggery, or coconut chutney.
COCONUT CHUTNEY:
Scrape a quarter of the coconut and grind it to a smooth paste with a green chilly. Add salt and season with mustard and curry leaves.
