Indian Cooking Recipe: Dhokar Dalna
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Dhokar Dalna
Ingredients:
1. Chana Daal / Cholar: 200 Gms.
2. Potato: 1 big cut into small pieces.
3. Coriander seed paste: 1 tbsp.
4. Cumin seed paste: 1 tbsp.
5. Chili powder: 1/4 tsp.
6. Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp.
7. Curd: 50 Gms.
8. Ginger paste: 2 tbsp.
9. Green chilies: 4 nos.
10. Ghee 1tbsp.
11. Salt to taste.
12. Roast Garam Masala, cumin and coriander together and power it.
13. Oil: 100 Gms
Method of Preparation:
Wash it and soak chana daal overnight. Grind chana daal with little ginger, salt and green chili. Heat oil in a pan and add chana daal paste. Fry till moisture dries off. Spread the mixture in a greased plate. Cut in diamond shapes and fry in deep oil till golden brown. Fry potato till brown. In the same oil add ginger paste, coriander, cumin seed paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and curd. Fry till it leaves oil. Add water, fried potato and boil. Add already fried dhoklas and cook for 2 minutes. Add ghee and garam masala.
