Indian Cooking Recipe: Sev Ganthia Saag
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Sev Ganthia Saag
Ingredients:
a. cup sev or ganthia
2. 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
3. 1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
4. 1/4 tsp. garam masala
5. 1/2 tsp. sugar
6. 2-3 pinches asafetida
7. 1/4 tsp. amchoor (dried mango powder)
8. 1/4 tsp. dhania (coriander seed) powder
9. 1/2 tbsp. coriander leaves finely chopped
a. tbsp. oil
10. salt to taste
Method of Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan, add seeds and asafetida, allow spluttering.
Add masala solution; allow simmering for 3-4 minutes.
Add sugar and stir to dissolve.
Add ganthia or sev, stir, garnish with chopped coriander.
Serve hot with phulka or thepla, or roti.
