Indian Cooking Recipe: Yogirathna
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Yogirathna
Ingredients:
1. Potatoes 3
2. Vegetable marrow 1
3. Carrot 1
4. Shelled green peas 1/2 cup
5. Ash gourd a small piece
6. Cucumber 1
7. Cauliflower a small piece
8. Chopped tomatoes 2
9. Sliced Onions 2
10. Slit green chillies 6
11. Grated coconut 1
12. Ginger a small piece
13. Coriander seeds 1 tsp
14. Poppy seeds 1 tsp
15. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
16. Jeera 1 tsp
17. Curry leaves few sprigs
18. Asafeotida a pinch
19. Oil for frying
20. Salt to taste
Method of Preparation:
Wash and peel potatoes, marrow, carrot and ash gourd. Cut all the vegetable into cubes. Extract coconut milk from the grated coconut. Grind ginger, coriander and poppy seeds to a smooth paste. Cook the vegetables with onions, green chillies, coconut milk, ground masala and 1 1/2cups of water. When it is done allow to simmer on a low fire. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, jeera, curry leaves and asafeotida. As soon as the mustard crackles, remove from fire and season curry with this.
