Chaman Qaliya Recipe
Indian Cooking Recipe: Chaman Qaliya
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Chaman Qaliya
Ingredients:
1. 400 gms paneer
2. Mustard oil for deep frying
3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4. Salt to taste
5. 8-10 cloves
6. 1 tsp cinnamon powder
7. 1 tsp cardamom powder
8. 1 tsp cummin powder
9. A pinch of asafeotida (hing)
10. 400 ml milk
11. 1 tsp desi ghee
12. 10 gms jeera


Method of Preparation:
Cut the paneer into small cubes. Heat the mustard oil in a kadai and deep fry the paneer cubes till light brown. Remove from oil. Bring enough water with turmeric powder and salt to taste to a boil to cover the paneer. Add the paneer cubes and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the cloves, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, cummin powder, asafeotida and milk and cook for another 10 minutes. Just before serving, heat the desi ghee in a pan and season with jeera. Pour this over the paneer. Serve hot.
