Indian Cooking Recipe: Nadier Palak Tikki
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Nadier Palak Tikki
Ingredients:
1. 200 g lotus roots, scraped
2. 100 g potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
3. 50 g spinach, chopped fine
a. tsp cardamom powder
4. 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
5. 4-5 cloves
6. 2-3 green chilies, chopped fine
7. 2.5 cm ginger, julienne
8. Salt to taste
9. Mustard oil for deep frying
Method of Preparation:
Grate the lotus roots and mix with the mashed potatoes and chopped spinach. Add all the remaining ingredients, except the mustard oil, and mix thoroughly. Divide this mixture into small portions and shape into tikkis.
Heat the mustard oil in a kadai and deep fry the tikkis till done. Serve hot.
