Indian Cooking Recipe: Ayala Fry In Masala
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Ayala Fry In Masala
Ingredients:
1. 1 kg mackerel, cleaned but whole.
2. 2 tsps chopped ginger
3. 2 tsps chopped garlic
4. 100 gms onion, sliced
5. 3 tbsps oil
6. Curry leaves
7. Salt to taste
8. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
10. 1 tsp tamarind
11. 4 green chillies, sliced


Method of Preparation:
In a pan heat oil and sauté onion, chillies, garlic and ginger. Add fish, curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt to taste and tamarind. Cover and cook on a low fire for 10-15 mts. In another pan heat some oil. Remove the fish from the masala and fry it well. Spread the masala on a banana leaf (or a plate); place the fried fish on top.
