Chaamp Masala Recipe
Indian Cooking Recipe: Chaamp Masala
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Chaamp Masala
Ingredients:
1. 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2. 6-8 lamb chops from the ribs, remove all extra fat
3. 1 c grated or pureed fresh tomatoes
4. 2 medium sized onions, grated
5. 1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
6. 1 tbsp coriander powder
7. 2 tsp cumin powder
8. 4 green cardamoms
9. 2- 2 inch cinnamon sticks
10. 1 1/2 c yoghurt beaten
11. Salt to taste
12. 1 tsp ground roasted cumin seeds
13. 1-2 tsps garam masala
14. 3 tblspns lemon juice
15. 2-3 tblspns chopped fresh green coriander


Method of Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan. Add the cardamom and the cinnamon. Add the onions and fry till brown. Add the ginger garlic paste. Add the coriander, cumin, red chilli powders, a little water and fry.
Add the lamb chops and fry on high heat for about 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, yoghurt and salt. Turn the heat to low, cover and simmer for 50 minutes or until the chops are almost cooked. Add the roasted cumin seed powder and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until the meat is tender and the sauce is thick.
Add the garam masala and lemon juice and stir. Sprinkle fresh coriander over the top and serve.
