Indian Cooking Recipe: Bhaji Per Indoo
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Bhaji Per Indoo
Ingredients:
a. kg cholai bhaji (spinach)
2. 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh coriander
a. medium onions, finely sliced
b. dessertspoons Worcestershire Sauce
c. cloves garlic (1/2 teaspoon)
d. or 2 green chilies
3. 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger root
4. Grind item 5, 6, 7 to a paste
5. 11/2 teaspoons sugar
6. 11/4 teaspoons salt
a. tablespoons vegetable oil or
7. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
8. melted ghee
9. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
a. eggs


Method of Preparation:
Clean spinach by plucking the leaves and tender stalks and discharging the thick stalks. Wash leaves then chop them, in a pan heat oil or ghee and fry onion in it till pale yellow.
Add chili paste and cook for 3 minutes.
Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander and cook 3 minutes more.
Add spinach, blend well, add salt then cover and cook on slow fire 10 minutes.
Add Worcestershire Sauce and sugar and continue cooking on slow fire a few minutes more till spinach is cooked.
Separate eggs and beat whites of eggs till soft peaks form. Add yolks and blend.
Put spinach in an 8 inch pie plate, spread beaten eggs over surface of spinach and bake in moderate in oven till eggs are set and golden.
