Indian Cooking Recipe: Amritsari Aloo
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Amritsari Aloo
Ingredients:
1. Potatoes 5 nos.
2. Tomatoes 3 nos
3. Saunf 1 tsp.
4. Kalonji 1/2 tsp.
5. Methi seeds 1/4 tsp.
6. Red chili powder 1/2 tsp.
7. Haldi 1/4 tsp.
8. Coriander leaves a bunch
9. Kadhi Patta 8 to 10 nos.
10. Oil 5 tblspns.
11. Salt to taste
Method of Preparation:
1. Puree tomatoes.
2. Boil potatoes, cut 3 potatoes into big pieces and coarsely mash the rest.
3. In a pan heat oil, put saunf, methi seeds, kalonji, red chili powder, haldi and kadhi patta.
4. Stir fry for a while. Add pureed tomatoes, keep stirring until it dries up a bit and then put all the potatoes. Mix Well.
5. Add 4 cups of water, bring to boil.
6. Add salt and coriander leaves, let it boil for ten minutes.
7. Serve hot with puris.
