Indian Cooking Recipe: Chicken Tikka Masala
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients:
a. Tbsp cumin seeds
b. Tbsp coriander seeds
2. 2 Tbsp paprika
a. tsp chili powder
3. red food coloring
4. juice of lime
5. 10 oz thick yoghurt
6. salt to taste
a. lb chicken, diced
7. 5 cloves garlic, chopped
a. large onion, chopped
8. 1/2 cup water
9. oil for cooking
Method of Preparation:
1. Grind the spices and mix with marinade ingredients.
2. Immerse chicken in marinade and leave in the fridge for 24 hours.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan until very hot. Stir fry chicken vigorously for about 5 mins (you may need to do it in 2 batches, depending on the size of your pan) Remove chicken and keep warm.
4. Fry onion and garlic until just browning and return chicken with any remaining marinade and water, add it in the pan
5. Simmer until chicken is cooked, please keep in mind that sauce should be nice and thick.
