Indian Cooking Recipe: Aloo Ka Halwa
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Aloo Ka Halwa
Ingredients:
1. 3 cups boiled mashed potatoes (8-9 medium sized potatoes)
a. cup powdered sugar
2. 1/2 cup ghee
a. cup milk
b. tsp cardamom powder
3. 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Method of Preparation:
1. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Heat well.
2. Add mashed potatoes and fry well. The more you fry the better the Halwa tastes. Stir continuously as it tends to stick to the bottom a little
3. Add milk and powdered sugar
4. When sugar dissolves and the Halwa starts leaving ghee remove from heat
5. Add cardamom powder and nuts.
