Eggplant Thuvaiyal Recipe
Indian Cooking Recipe: Eggplant Thuvaiyal
The following are the instructions on how to cook delicious Indian food: Eggplant Thuvaiyal
Ingredients:
1. Urad dal 2 tbsps
2. Channa dal 2 tbsps
3. Eggplant (Brinjal) 1 medium
4. Dry red chillies 2
5. Tamarind 1 tsp
6. Salt 1/4 tsp
7. Asafeotida a pinch
8. Green Chilli 1


Method of Preparation:
Hold the brinjal over a low flame for about 3 - 4 minutes and then let it cool. Remove the outer skin and mash well. Fry the dals, dry chillies and asafeotida in some oil and grind along with the salt, tamarind and green chilli. Add the brinjal and make into a fine paste. And serve with rice and sambar as side dish.
